Japanese Fountain Pens For Sale:
Pilot MYU and Murex

For more information on Pilot MYU and Murex pens, see this article.

Fine nibs are the most common. This pen was only marketed in Japan where some Japanese characters have over thirty strokes. Medium nibs are the most difficult to find. As far as I know, broad nib versions of these pens do not exist.

The pens for sale on this page are still in new condition and have never been inked or used.

The photos are for identifying the pen models, and are not necessarily of the particular pen for sale.

Note: These pens are very difficult to obtain now. If you are interested in one of these pens, please e-mail me at r...@stutler.cc to see if I have any (click on the dots if you can't figure out my e-mail address).

See the bottom of the page for ordering information.

These pens take standard Pilot (Namiki) ink cartridges or Pilot (Namiki) ink converters (CON-20). These are the standard aerometric type (A.K.A. plate press type or squeeze bar) and are the same size as a cartridge.

These pens come with an ink cartridge but not with an ink converter. I can include an ink converter (for pens that can accept an ink converter) for an extra charge. See optional ink converters and adaptors for Japanese fountain pens for information and prices.

For a list of vendors who sell Pilot/Namiki ink cartridges or converters see Where to get ink cartridges and converters for Japanese fountain pens
