Most likely, as for as this side of the family knows, we came from Germany. I know we have some distant relatives in West Virginia.

Admin reply: Have you heard the story of our immigrant ancestor murdering someone and then fleeing back to Europe? That's my favorite!

Apparently this message board would not allow people to post comments -- which makes it pretty a worthless feature. Sorry! Don't get angry! I've removed the requirement to type in a number, and have activated the feature that let's me see and approve entries before they appear here. I hope it doesn't result in too much work for me, but, hey, this site can't be that popular, right?
